Community rules & privacy
How the community features of Olympian Hall work. This page adds to our Privacy Policy and Terms.

Community articles
- Writers are players who were given the Writer tag by a moderator or admin. Their articles are their own views and theories, not official Olympian Hall articles.
- New articles are read by staff before they go up. Edits to a live article also wait for review, and the live version stays up until then.
- Write in your own words. Copied work, hate, harassment, sexual content and spam will be removed.
- The writer keeps the rights to what they write. By sending it in, they allow us to show it on Olympian Hall. A writer can delete their own article at any time, and we may remove articles that break these rules.
Comments and reports
- You need an account to comment. Comments show your site name and the date.
- You can delete your own comments. Staff can delete any comment that breaks the rules.
- Use the Report button on an article or comment that breaks the rules. Staff see who sent a report, and the person you report does not.
What we keep
- Writer applications: your site name, the contact email you give, and your pitch. Only staff can see them. We use the email only to reach you about your articles and application.
- Emails we send: password reset links, and notices about writer applications and articles. We do not send marketing email. Emails are sent through a delivery service (Resend).
- Articles, comments and reports: kept until deleted. If your account is deleted, they go with it.
- Staff chat and the moderation log: private to staff. They record who did what, so the team can be trusted to act fairly.
